In parallel with our modern civilization on Earth, there are remnants of another, more ancient world, invisible to us. After self-destruction millions of years ago, its remnants evolved and continued to evolve beyond the material form of existence. The surviving "ancients" were divided into two camps: some are hiding, mothballing themselves in the glaciers of the Antarctic and the Arctic, while others live among us.
As a result of the car explosion, the father of two girls is killed, and one of the sisters sustains lifelong leg injuries. A few years later, in an attempt to ease the life of her healthy sister, she agrees to enter the immaterial world with the help of new friends, a world opened by vampires. From there, she witnesses how the modern world repeats and ancient pattern, leading to melting glaciers, global warming, bloody wars, and the inevitable destruction of civilization. Only passionate love, which distinguishes the new humanity from the ancient civilization, can prevent the inevitable end.
